  These photos are taken from when we dropped into Kooroorinya Falls Nature Reserve – a little known community-owned camp area between Muttaburra and Prairie in Queensland. You’ll find it in the CAMPS 11 book out this month and the Camps Australia Wide App (QLD site 414 in CAMPS 10). When we were there in winter this year – there was a lot less water to what I’ll guess what is there right now! It was $20 per vehicle per night, no power, BYO water, generators ok 8am-6pm. Forestry Corporation of NSW has worked with a local contractor to unveil a new all-natural playground at the popular Swan’s Crossing in Kerewong State Forest. Swans Crossing is a camping and picnic site located just 15 minutes from Kendall and a popular spot for locals and visitors alike to come and experience the beauty of State forests. Forestry Corporation’s Partnerships Leader, Sandra Madeley, said the new playground is just another great reason to visit the scenic state forest. “There are so many things to do when visiting Kerewong State Forest, and the new playground is an excellent addition,” Ms Madeley said.
