Have had two editions of these over the years. The second one finally had the updated maps. Was our travel bible. I wrote camp info in it…highlighted great spots to see….notes on caravan friendly servos…plus much more.
It’s well worn and retired now after 5 years full time on the road. However we still get it out occasionally and read our tips and reminisce off all the wonderful places we had seen.

Favourite free camp is Teddington Weir… out St Arnaud way in Victoria.
Best tip for travellers is to travel down the byroads/backroads through the smaller regional towns…. where there are so many hidden treasures to be found which you will not find on the usual tourism brochures. Talk to the locals… they’ll share local treasures that will amaze you…and of which most are free.
