Macksville Lions Park – overnight
Limited space. Beautiful night views and sunrise! Right on the river. So close to town. Some road noise. Fisher’s dream – boat ramp and fish cleaning station right there. Make sure you park in the right spot.
2026 Update: The overnight parking rules here have recently changed. The Ferry Street location has new signage to designate where you can park and where you can’t. We recently spoke to the Ranger who confirmed the change and said the signage should be be clearer and that the new parking rules are on a trial basis due to earlier misuse by visitors.
• Caravans are no longer permitted only campervans under 6 metres or small RVs
• There is No parking in Long Vehicle Bays, they are reserved for boat trailers.
