Daniel and Amanda Courtney are travelling Australia in a truck with their daughter, Aria. They are currently in North Queensland and heading outback. You’ll see more of their footage on our socials and newsletters.
A bit about us. Daniel spent around 15 years in the Air Force as a Communications Technician, and I am a Primary School Teacher! For the last 7 years, we have worked on and built Daniel Courtney Photography, our landscape photography art business, including a few galleries. With COVID our physical gallery in Newcastle wasn’t viable to run any more, and so we decided to pack up everything we owned and hit the road, experience Australia and capture more art!
That’s when we created Overland Exposure, as a means of promoting and marketing Daniel’s Photography to the Australian market, and to help people travelling or wanting to travel. Over our last 11 months of full time caravan travel (11,000km from Newcastle, NSW to The Tip of QLD) Overland Exposure has grown significantly and into something more. We are so happy that we are able to showcase Australia’s natural beauty to Aussies and the world, help others on the road travelling or planning to travel and give first hand amazing experiences Australia has to offer through our socials, YouTube channel and website blogs.
We have been using the Camps Australia App at every step of the way, from pre planning the trip before we left (that plan didn’t last long!), right through to today as we travel through Far North Queensland.
