Junction reef new FREE CAMP Burnt Yards Blayney Region   Good news and new camps for 2024. There is a lot of talk about free camps and pub stays disappearing. Yes, you see the odd site close – but here at CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE we are actually adding more new sites every week! Many are free camps, and definitely pubs, too! In fact, we currently have 1378 NEW sites (day use, too) listed in our database. Unlike other apps, these don’t include duplicate or dodgy user generated sites – because we check every single one, like in the video below.

Lake Mason Homestead, Western Australia is now a free camp!

This former pastoral station, Lake Mason Homestead is now a free camp, there is free entry to the remote Lake Mason Conservation Park and you cannot book sites. However, no pets allowed.  The Parks and Wildlife Service have advised that Lake Mason does have a flushing toilet,  hot donkey shower and a firepit. BYO drinking water – untreated bore water is also available.  Travelling with  their CAMPS book, Jane Duinmeyer recently visited Lake Mason and thought we would enjoy their photos: “We laughed and laughed at the facilities, or lack thereof and the shower… …and toilets were our favourite.” “We love your book
