Free Stopover: Alwyn Francis Bridge, Queensland

Just south of Kingaroy, we’d recommend a shady, quiet campground – and beside the Stuart River (we’ve heard there may not be much water in it at the moment though).  Alwyn Francis Bridge at Taabinga, has toilets, picnic tables, mobile phone coverage and is pet friendly. There is plenty of room for big rigs. Note the time limit of 20 hours. It is QLD site 683 in Camps 10 or find it on the Camps Australia Wide App.  We had a lovely stop here.
