Between Gympie and the Cooloola Coast, is a little oasis called Standown Park, QLD site 212 in Camps 11, 256 in Caravan Parks 5 or find it on the Camps Australia Wide App.  As we turned into their road, kangaroos were there to welcome us.  The pet friendly caravan park has powered sites and budget unpowered out of the way sites as there are 18 acres beside forestry, set amongst gardens, wide open spaces and memorial walls.  Standown is a military term for ‘rest/relax’ and that is exactly what you do here. Eumundi RV Stop Over: top spot but still closed, Queensland

On our way back home, we stopped into the Eumundi Markets and the Eumundi RV Stop Over. We noted it says it is still closed due to COVID (which you will see on the Camps Australia Wide App), so we put in a query. CMCA RV Park Geeveston

Heritage Park is now CMCA RV Park Geeveston, Tasmania

Heritage Park Geeveston has had a name change, following its closure by council and new management by CMCA. Now called CMCA RV Park Geeveston – it is still on Arve Road opposite the roadhouse now with the addition of a Custodian.  The previous facilities, bbq’s, picnic tables, bins, playground and shelters are not within the site but are still available at the park next door.   Situated on the banks of the Kermandie River  this is the most southerly of all CMCA RV parks. Changes for Renmark Paringa RV Parks, South Australia

Plushs Bend RV Park Online bookings are now live for Renmark Paringa’s RV Parks and Campgrounds – Plush’s Bend, SS Ellen Park and TM Price Rotary Park. Time limits and type of camping have been changed as well. In all 3 sites, dogs on leash only, check In from 1pm and check out by 11am.
