Camping resumes at Myrtle Park Rec Ground, Tasmania

The City of Launceston will reopen the ever-popular Myrtle Park camping ground to the public on October 22.  Councillors also unanimously supported a recommendation to set overnight camping fees at the site at $20 per night per site, up to a maximum of 10 people – the same price as last year. Myrtle Park Rec Ground is Tasmania site 1 in the Camps 11 guide. Pet and Big Rig friendly, it now has a 14 day limit, with toilets, showers, laundry, playground, camp kitchen – even swimming and fishing.
