After many requests from travellers or some prefer to be called Nomads, for a club which would provide them with support, information, regular newsletters and allow them to attend National and State rallies if they so desired, it was thought the time was right to form the Australasian Touring Caravan, Motorhome and Camping Club Inc. (ATCM&CC). Now we have members in every State and Territory of Australia and also members in New Zealand. We would like to invite you, the reader, to join our club which will be 15 years on in 2014. We hold two national rallies per year in different state so our members can attend rally’s in different state.

There are many areas of Australia that need a very well equipped four wheel drive and considerable driving experience to enter, but there are many more that today’s Softroaders all wheel drive can easily travel.

Many outback and forestry roads are very well maintained gravel roads that even the average two wheel drive vehicles will have no difficulty negotiating, but fire trails and tracks really need the added ground clearance of a Softroader all wheel drive.

Through ‘Easy Softroader Trips‘ series of short documentary style videos and trip information, we hope to encourage overseas and Australian travellers to ‘get out there’ and experience Australia’s amazing beauty, isolation and History
