Yallingup Area by CAMPS Ambassadors, Overland Exposure Have you already started nibbling bunnies and eggs? I have asked Heatley to hide them – far, far away! He’s happy – he’s found candy eggs from Pittsworth and the rest are safely stashed until Sunday. I do wish I hadn’t tried the little Kat Kat bunnies, though – very more-ish! And so are the two recipes we’ve included – one for Good Friday and an Easter treat below.  On top of that, we talk egg-citing Easter events (at one of the biggest woolsheds in the country and an historic high country cattle

And it was still warm enough for daily swims! Like when we met Claude and Christiane, and Ted and Caz (above) at beautiful Three Mile Dam Campground, near Mt Selwyn, NSW. The water was so refreshing and I watched fish jumping as I cooked dinner. We saw brumbies here, too. With the school break nearly here, as well as fun farm and station stays – check

These lesser known camps are better than finding a four leaf clover!

With the birthday gal at Carlo Sandblow, looking out to The Coloured Sands at Rainbow Beach, Queensland St Patrick’s Day is a special event in our family – and more so this year. No, it is not due to our Irish blood – but because my eldest sister is turning 60 on the 17th! Happy birthday, Debbie! I think we’ll celebrate with a spot of camping….  Here’s our hidden pots of gold – you are unlikely to have heard of all of these camps, if any! But if you have, please let us know. We loved this National Park gem

If you LOVE LOVE LOVE camping, do we have some bucket list destinations for you!

Lake MacKenzie, K’gari Fraser Island, Queensland Image by Kag What’s not to love about camping? ALL of these iconic locations are so beautiful you could ‘pop the question’ or enjoy a Valentine’s squeeze. In fact, one of our reader’s did propose to his wife at Boolimba Bluff – and our daughter witnessed a proposal near Pemberton, WA. The Bicentennial Tree climb is so scary, he couldn’t persuade his intended to climb all the way up. So he went down on one knee only a platform or so up. The highlight of our girl’s day! As well as Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland, we
