“Best camp on Queensland’s Cape York”: Mutee Head

CAMPS Ambassadors, Manda and Daniel from Overland Exposure shared these Queensland photos and declared: “Honestly, the best camp in the Cape! Beach front, off grid, small and quiet, beach walks, sunsets, camp fires, hammock laying, turtles, dolphins – just amazingness! We finally hit the road South and went to Mutee Head Turtle Camp for 2 nights. We checked this out a few days back and loved it. We looked forward to some quiet off grid camping with amazing views, not that Seisia was bad lol, this just had the possibilities of turtles too! It did not disappoint! We saw dolphins

Newly renovated: Kingscliff Beach Holiday Park

If you want beachfront, close to shops and just over an hour drive from Brisbane – book a site at Kingscliff Beach Holiday Park. It has been re-listed on our Camps Australia Wide App, after being closed for an extended time for renovations.  Kingscliff has become a lot busier than the seaside village I grew up near. But it still retains a charm, especially the access to the beach and the flatter shallows of Cudgen Creek.
