Most people know Lucky Bay near Esperance in WA but there is also a Lucky Bay campground 46km south of Kalbarri and it doesn’t disappoint.
Keep your family, yourself and other campers safe – read up on beach driving safety before you go! Whether you are new to 4WD driving on the beach, or have clocked a few k’s on the sand – there may be some valuable tips in here…
We live on the beach, so we tend to camp in the bush. But here is an island we loved. Here’s what you need to know to camp on Minjerribah North Stradbroke Island – and why you don’t need a 4WD and you can bring the dog … If you like to travel with a pooch, Flinders Beach and Main Beach are your options for camping – and you will need a 4WD. There is a low ocean swell here because of the Islands of the Sir Joseph Banks Group, so no need to bring a surfboard! The camp is located south of Tumby Bay, on the eastern side of the beautiful Eyre Peninsula. What to see

We looked forward to some quiet off grid camping with amazing views, not that Seisia was bad lol, this just had the possibilities of turtles too! It did not disappoint! We saw dolphins

A decision was made to add a charge per vehicle per night of $20, 3 nights minimum. Unfortunately the other sites are closed- the town oval so they can ‘support caravan parks’.
