Swim, fish and camp at Engine Point, Lincoln National Park, South Australia

Our CAMPS Ambassadors Daniel and Manda recently visited Lincoln National Park in the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia.

This means the CAMPS App has heaps of up to date info about the different camping options!

They said the water was much warmer here – compared to other SA beaches. I wonder why?

But with the beautiful hues, clear and shallow ocean, why wouldn’t you be content with Boston Bay right at your front door! It is Australia’s largest natural harbour.

It is 4WD only, no facilities, with limited sites – but note there isn’t a lot of shade, but often wind!

Overlooking Boston Bay, the surrounds of the campground offer beautiful beach views, however there is minimal shade and protection from the wind. The site is situated above the shoreline, has unallocated camping for seven vehicles and is accessible only by 4WD.

Suitable for tents and off-road camper trailers, current prices are $13.50 per vehicle per night.

Campfires are allowed (seasonal fire restrictions apply). No pets.
