Free camping Bundaberg Region Queensland

Free camping Bundaberg Region Queensland Free Camping ……. and caravanning is one of the more rewarding ways to explore and experience a place. This is especially true in a country like Australia, famous for the great outdoors. There are plenty of campsites tucked away – but if you don’t know where they are you can easily miss them. People often assume that it won’t be difficult to find a place to stopover on a budget but soon discover it can be a lot more expensive than anticipated. Welcome Dan and Nora! Congratulations to Dan and Nora Gleeson, new owners of Trinity Islands Holiday Park! Travelling with the CAMPS guides from way back, they’ve found a special corner of Australia to call their own. Plus they are sharing it with all of us! “Dan and I travelled around Australia with the kids (now adults) navigating from the back seat with Camps 4. See the turtles at Mon Repos

Definitely a thing for your bucket list.  The turtles were THE reason we stayed at Bargara Beach Caravan Park. Mon Repos supports the Pacific region’s largest breeding population of loggerhead turtles, and the largest nesting marine turtles on the eastern mainland Australia. Of course we found lots of other lovely things to do in Bundaberg and the coast, but seeing the turtles was the highlight of the weekend. Not just for us, but also our son and his friend.  Be prepared for a wait. If you are planning, book well ahead. If not, and it is booked out – ask if
