We’ve already had the question: what is a hybrid?
When you are talking hybrid vans – it is a combination. It has the comforts of a caravan plus the access and easy towing of a camper trailer.
Because the van is only 2 metres wide (literally all bed) – it means its tyres follow the tyres of our 4WD. Heatley felt the difference as soon as we left Long Point RV in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
Another bonus of the width is that it will fit snugly beside our house. Something our previous ‘normal’ width caravan couldn’t do. Not only is this convenient for storing, it means it is easier to pack for a trip – and just decide to go, when the urge to roam hits us.
The kitchen is all outside. But I’ll show that off in another post.
For now, it’s just great to have a van again. We look forward to seeing you on the road.
