This expansive spot is popular with campers and there’s good reason. With powered and unpowered sites, picnic tables and pretty views, you can pick a beautiful spot by the tranquil lake and lots of wildlife.
All vehicles that can be self contained including camper trailers are welcome but no tents permitted. The farm stay has a restaurant, new toilets, even a dump point, however there are no showers here, so make sure you have that on board!
The budget fee is per vehicle so it’s beaut for families. It’s even pet friendly, but they must be on lead to protect the wildlife.
Explore all the farm has to offer, with walking tracks, sea eagles nest, trout fishing, farm animals, pick your own blueberries, lake and wetlands, restaurant, and yet central for day trips exploring the Tamar Valley, visiting Cataract Gorge, a cruise on the river or a visit to Tasmania Zoo.
