Our latest listing is a favourite with campers. Tucked away just 10 minutes west of Gympie you’ll find Hidden Camp at Pie Creek, a 6.5 acre property where you can get back to nature.
The perfect destination … close to most things but still away from everything! Families will love it here, you can bring the kids, dog, push bikes and canoe.
Enjoy a campfire in season in the fire pits provided and there’s plenty of firewood available.
The camp offers a pretty view, there’s a camp kitchen and bar setup near the dam, with lights, barbeque, fridge/freezer and some appliances. There are both powered and unpowered sites, fresh water available, and you can also hire the entire property, perfect for larger group bookings. Do bring a camping toilet (though you can hire a loo here).
This is a beautiful and natural bush camp environment, so you’ll want to take your rubbish with you (if you can bring yourself to leave, that is). The kids will love you when they discover the dam has a zip line, rope swings, and 2 kayaks.
It’s only 10 minutes from Gympie and 2 hours north of Brisbane. Friendly owners Callan and Leah also offer a few home comforts like barista-made coffee, croissants and cooked breakfasts!
This is THE family destination. Would you believe they offer holiday programs (check out their facebook page) with jumping castle, face painting, ice cream, colouring competitions and movies. They have nights with wood fired pizza, hot dogs and there’s even live music!
