Mary Pool free camp is located 180km east of Fitzroy Crossing and 108km west of Halls Creek in WA.

This huge area, located beside the Mary River, has plenty of shade, clean toilets, dump point and rubbish bins.

There is plenty of bird life to be seen and also cows wandering around.  It is a very popular free camp so recommend getting in early.

Thanks to CAMPS Ambassadors, Dale and Tracey from Adams Family Travels for their update and images.

It has some super reviews on the CAMPS App, Kerrie rated it as the best free camp they have stayed at (and they have travelled twice around Oz) and a beautiful spot – even when the river is dry.

It also gets a mention in the CAMPS Community Cookbook! Contributors Drew and June Burgess say it is the “epitome of a free camp” and their favourite, too. Here’s their recipe and their photo!
