Ron Harwood (who we met in the Northeast Camp at Scottsdale) introduced us to a new app we hadn’t heard of before called Snap, Send, Solve. It is a free app and it is helping community members all over Australia and New Zealand report issues to local councils, utilities and other authorities.
The geo-targeting technology means that this app is perfect to use while travelling, as your location is automatically detected, so no need for addresses or landmarks. Whether it be a malfunctioning toilet, filthy campground or a fallen tree blocking the road, just Snap a photo and Send it to Snap Send Solve for a hassle free reporting experience.
Ron says the app allows him to immediately notify any council in Australia he’s travelling through when he finds something that’s in need of attention or of a concern at any of the parks and campsites they visit. He snaps a photo, uploads it to the local authority right on the spot.
Free to download from the App Store and Google Play, and available online, with Snap Send Solve it’s never been easier to help keep our local communities and campgrounds cleaner and safer.
Happy camping and happy Snapping!
