Free camp: Legerwood Memorial Park, Tasmania
The Legerwood Memorial RV Park and Day Use areas are adjacent to each other, with electric bbq’s, picnic tables, playground, toilets, an information centre, shade, water and a cafe across the road. Just a short detour off the Tasman Hwy, 86km north of Launceston, the Legerwood Carved Memorial trees are the centrepiece of the RV Park, they were sculpted to commemorate World War One fallen soldiers from the Dorset area.
