Camps Australia Wide - Camping App Walgett
App

“Simple”, “brilliant” and “easiest” camping App

Keith Lucht from Ipswich, Queensland called us at CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE to tell us about our App. He was excited. This camping App is so, so much simpler because you can just scroll through and that’s where we are – and it all comes up! You look at your town, we go to Walgett, and it is all there. I’ve

Where to check flood and storm affected parks in Victoria, before you camp

Parks Victoria, Forest Fire Management Victoria and the Conservation Regulator are urging travellers to be extra prepared before visiting parks and forests. Even where the rain has stopped, the impacts of floods and storms will continue for months ahead. Things might not be as expected, and forecasts and park conditions may change rapidly. Victoria continues to experience the impacts of widespread floods and storms, affecting many communities across the state. (Extra night? Stop here at the caravan park or The Gorge near Aratula.)

Here’s our ‘Camping 101’ tips… For popular caravan parks and camps, you need to book ahead over peak periods like Christmas, summer, Easter, other school holidays and often The Dry season up north. Some bookings at iconic beach parks or camps can only be won in a ballot. But if you are like us, we don’t often plan ahead. We love not knowing where we’ll be that night.
