Made in Australia & Aussie owned

CAMPS has always been Australian owned and proudly Australian. We now qualify for Australia Made and Owned certification! All our products are created and designed here in Australia – we employ local cartographers, designers and our CAMPS researchers. We purchase Aussie products – like the extensive maps. We made a decision to print CAMPS 11 in Australia, and help another company who employ Australians, too. Unlike many in our industry, we’re not a multinational company, CAMPS is owned by an Aussie family. So from our family to yours, happy camping! Thank you for supporting an homegrown, dinky-di Australian business! Pre-order your newly released Camps 11

Camps 11 Site Types
Camping

What’s New in Camps 11?

For the first time in the history of CAMPS, you can identify the site type at a glance on the maps. We now have these colourful new symbols so you can see if it is a recreation or showground, national park, state forests or nature reserve, station or pub stay, RV park or other freedom or paid site. Without looking at the listing, you can see if it is pet friendly depending on whether the numbered oval has ears or not and which type of stop it is depending on the colour.  We’ve included this in our new App as well,

4 Reasons to go Camping

Right now, councils and local commerce groups need to work even harder and smarter to reinvigorate tourism after lockdown, and welcome people into their region. Although Aussies have done it tough during the crisis, we know from the surge in interest post-Covid – that people cannot wait to get back on the road. The beauty of the camping industry is that compared to traditional accommodation: 1. It is relatively cheap – so very appealing if you are on a budget.2. Travellers who are self-contained don’t have to worry about public facilities, and3. Self distancing in the bush or beach is

These farms are already listed in our Camps Australia Wide books/app (for free). The PDF is available for free or you can choose to donate online for

GO WEST and stay with a farmer!

Four Corners by Paul Zuccarello @mariachi.abandoned.melbourne via Instagram One of the wonderful things we do as a nation, is get behind the battlers, and help out those in need. We’ve seen it with the bushfires and the MILLIONS of funds directed to communities reeling from lost lives, homes and livelihoods from fire damage. We don’t want Australians in the drought areas to be forgotten – so we are asking you, our CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE Community, to visit these drought-stricken areas. Rains will come (in some places have had a little), but it will still take years to recover from this drought. So
