The retreat is open to all serving members, veterans, first responders and their families/carers, and it is free. The Melbourne Cup is just one of those iconic Aussie events that is on bucket lists everywhere. Despite the rain, it lived up to our expectations. Mum and I arrived just before the deluge. Pies, festivals and a new camp ground

Concerts are not something I have done a lot of over the years. Probably due to dragging four kids along to events like this is not always easy. Well, it was a lifelong aim to see Jimmy Barnes live. Previously called Ongerup Gardens Caravan Park, new owners Lee and Stephen Baker welcome travellers to their corner of WA. The park is perfectly situated between the Stirling Range and Fitzgerald River National Parks.
