Congratulations to the new owners of Leasingham Village Cabins! Located in Leasingham, South Australia, it is know known as CLARE VALLEY CARAVAN PARK.
A stand out destination, Red Rock Beach is north of Coffs Harbour, NSW. You can see why it has that name – but have you visited? It is just so special because it has two beaches – offering totally different experiences, a creek and a river! Corindi River and the beaches surround Reflections Holiday Park Red Rock. After lunch in the picnic area (watching kayakers), we swam at Little Beach, perfect for families at this sheltered cove. There was even a bit of shade on the sand when we visited from the Pandanus trees. Beware of tidal channels here. Note:

UPDATE May 2023: Coonalpyn Caravan Park is still free for unpowered camping, but with a fee for power & showers, using a pay wave system, and a great place to check out! Who doesn’t love a freebie! We have to give a shout out to Coorong District Council managing Coonalpyn Caravan Park also known as the Coonalpyn Soldiers Memorial Park. The park underwent some refurbishment earlier this year and council opted to charge no fees during that time, and have decided to continue that model for the time being and you will only pay as you use with a fee
The team at Paronella Park have been very busy in early 2022 building a new section for camping called ‘The Paddock’. Located behind the Mena Creek Hotel, there are 60 pet-friendly sites, with drive-thru availability, brand-new roads and amenities for visitors to enjoy! Power is currently limited as the final touches are made in the coming weeks. Cable Beach is an iconic location in The Kimberley – there’s the red red sand, holiday atmosphere and the camel rides. After improvements at Broome’s Town Beach and Chinatown, travellers and locals can look forward to a $36.5 million foreshore redevelopment at Cable Beach. The master plan includes a whole new promenade, entry with public art and gardens, waterplay area, event space and beach access options – and it is all likely to start in March to May 2023. Well done Steve and Mel May from Tin Can Bay Tourist Park in the Gympie Region! They have been awarded Tourist Events Queensland ‘Best of Queensland Experience 2022’. We caught up with the couple at the Rainbow Beach Family Fishing Classic recently, after they’ve had a very busy winter. The award is presented to Queensland tourism businesses who consistently provide exceptional customer experiences, and are recommended by travellers, so Mel and Steve should be rightly proud! Each time we visit, the team have upgraded the park – with amenities, pool and a fabulous laundry! Their new camp kitchen is beautiful!
