Cooryong is home to The Man From Snowy River. You can park on the grass and bitumen area NOT on the fenced concrete section. The grassy area has beautiful trees and shade next to golf course and tennis nearby. Walk to town. A lovely spot. Explore the Man from Snowy River Museum, visit the grave of "The Man from Snowy River" - Jack Riley - and participate in an annual celebration of this Australian legend at the Man from Snowy River Bush Festival.Situated on the Murray Valley Highway, the setting is incredibly peaceful. There are many lookouts presenting magnificent views of Corryong and its surrounding valleys. The valley town is surrounded in all directions by hills covered with eucalyptus and pine forests. Please do not park in the Rec grounds. Dump Point located only 600m away in Donaldson Street.
