Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is a must see area if you are travelling around Australia. It is a place of rich history, spiritual significance and visual grandeur. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, be immersed in indigenous culture, go bird watching or see iconic Australian animals such as emus and kangaroos, you should put this one on the list.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is millions upon millions of years old and is a spiritually significant place for the Aboriginal traditional owners, the Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara people. The Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara people welcome visitors onto the land and offer opportunities to be immersed in the indigenous culture through rock art, bush food, stories, ceremonies, song and dance.

Although this area is a desert environment there is a wide array of plants and animals to see. Some animals include blue-tongued lizards, dingoes, snakes, marsupial moles, wallabies, goannas, thorny devils, emus, frogs and red kangaroos. There are a number of guided tours during the day that can take you through the park, giving you the best chance of seeing some of the unique animals and plant species.
