Author's Notes

When a guide covers the whole of Australia and contains a lot of camp sites that are susceptible to change, there are bound to be many amendments. Naturally, it is therefore advisable to access only those amendments that would be applicable to your immediate travels, rather than update the whole book unnecessarily.

For those travellers who have no easy internet access, or have no computer knowledge of how to access these updates, staff at Public Libraries or Internet Cafes are usually only too willing to access and print out the required information for a very small fee.

The book can only be used to its best advantage if it is updated regularly. Update only what you need in the immediate future and pass on any changes you find to myself, as well as to anyone who would also benefit during their travels. Also, pass these comments on and read the disclaimer in the book so that you are aware of your obligations when using the guide!

Note: we  produce a new edition every 2 years -  users of Camps 5th edition will have access to free updates for this edition until Jan 2013 & Camps 6th edition users until Jan 2015
